Refund Policy

1. Overview
We want you to be satisfied with YouTube 600x. This policy explains when refunds are available for paid subscriptions and how to request one.
2. Free Tier
The Free tier requires no payment and provides 10 summaries per day with full access to all features. We encourage you to try the Free tier before subscribing to ensure the Extension meets your needs.
3. Subscription Billing
Paid subscriptions (Pro at $4.99/month and Max at $9.99/month) are billed monthly through Paddle. Subscriptions auto-renew each month unless canceled. You can cancel anytime from your account settings; cancellation prevents future charges but does not refund the current billing period.
4. Refund Eligibility
We offer refunds in the following circumstances:
- First-purchase refund: If you're not satisfied with your first month of a paid subscription, you may request a full refund within 7 days of the initial charge.
- Technical issues: If the Extension is non-functional due to a bug or service outage on our end, and we cannot resolve the issue within a reasonable time, you may request a refund for the affected billing period.
- Duplicate charges: If you were charged more than once for the same period, we will refund the duplicate charge in full.
- Unauthorized charges: If your account was charged without your authorization, contact us immediately for a full refund.
5. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds are generally not provided for:
- Renewal charges after your first subscription month (unless one of the eligible circumstances above applies)
- Partial months or unused summaries within a billing period
- Dissatisfaction due to changes in YouTube's platform or policies, which are outside our control
- Failure to cancel before the renewal date
6. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email hexdevthings@gmail.com with:
- The email address associated with your account
- The subscription tier (Pro or Max)
- The date of the charge
- A brief explanation of the reason for your refund request
We will review your request and respond within 3 business days. Approved refunds are processed through Paddle and typically appear on your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
7. Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. After cancellation:
- Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period
- You will not be charged again
- Your account reverts to Free tier limits at the end of the billing period
- Cached summaries and settings are preserved
8. Chargebacks
If you believe a charge is erroneous or unauthorized, please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank. We can resolve most issues faster than the chargeback process and will issue a refund where appropriate. Chargebacks may result in account termination.
